Dear Colleague,
We would like to ensure you are kept up to date with the most recent developments at UBH International. |

BRAVE NEW WORLD
As the harsh new realities of our industry have led to the disappearance of more and more familiar names, we at UBH International are seeking to match our skills to the needs of our customers and focus our efforts to offer greatest value.
These are essential aims in maintaining a successful business as a tank container manufacturer, and our strong commitment to innovation, consistent quality and safety have enabled us to open up new, more sophisticated areas of application for our intermodal solutions.
Relentless worldwide demand for optimised pricing of standard tankcontainers led UBH International to conclude its groundbreaking
global licencing agreement
with CIMC.
Today, after just a few years of production, CIMC is the world's largest manufacturer of tank containers by some distance, and produced well over 6000 units to UBHI-licenced designs during 2006. Having already outgrown its original factory, CIMC has now moved to a new facility with a capacity of 10000 tank containers per year.
At the same time, UBHI, having in this way ensured a continued supply of high quality Universal Beam Tanks for its customers, has shifted its focus from manufacturing standard ISO-tanks, in order to concentrate on "specials" and swap tanks.

MINITANKS FOR OFFSHORE, PHARMACEUTICAL & CHEMICAL USE
|
|
 |
We have extended our product range to include mini-tanks both for the offshore industry and for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. |

 |
CRYOGENIC & GAS TANKS
We are now also building cryogenic tanks for the safe intermodal transport of refrigerated gases (LNG, CO2, Argon, Nitrogen and Oxygen), as well as more familiar gas tanks for the carriage of products such as butane and propane (LPG).
In a natural extension to our cryogenic offering, UBHI now builds ten-foot DNV-approved cryogenic tanks for nitrogen supply to the oil and gas industry, whilst, in a return to our road transport roots, we have been supplying cryogenic road tankers for various applications around the world.
|
HIGH CAPACITY LIGHTWEIGHT SWAP TANKS
Swap tanks continue to form an important part of our range. The widening use of freight tolls on road traffic in Europe will encourage greater use of swap tanks, as long-haul freight moves increasingly to rail.
UBHI swap tanks stand out from the pack by virtue of the familiar UBHI characteristics of low tare weight, high resilience and ease of repair - these are available in 7.15M, 7.45M and 7.82M, as well as 30ft configurations. |

INVESTING IN UBHI
NYK Trading, which for several years has been our exclusive sales agent in Japan, retains a reinforced connection with UBHI through a significant investment in the company, a move which not only recognised our successful relationship but provided further impetus to our diversification into new products.
TANK FINANCING
Through our association with a UK Finance House we may be able to offer you on- or off-balance sheet, long-term financing for your tank requirements.

TIME IS MONEY
As steel prices are once more set to rise, and are expected to do so for the foreseeable future, NOW is actually the right time to consider investment in tank containers.
Delaying, as recent history demonstrates, will simply cost the buyer money.
Our aim is always to provide the best combination of quality and price - this will rarely mean the lowest priced tank but we believe absolutely that we offer the lowest "whole-life cost" tank containers on the market.
If you are considering any purchases of tank containers, there is no one better equipped than UBHI to offer you expert assistance and advice:
